The 18th and Vine Jazz Festival is a partnership between Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley and the American Jazz Museum and is excited to invite college, high school and middle school students to participate. Pre-purchasing parking guarantees a reserved spot in the garage, even if the garage sells out. The cost is $10 for the Arts District Parking Garage and $18 for valet service. Pre-purchased parking is available 24 hours or more in advance of each performance. Pre-purchased parking is also available through our website or by calling the box office at 816.994.7222. ![]() Additionally, valet parking service is available on performance evenings for $20 cash. Garage parking is also available at the Webster Garage located at 17th & Wyandotte. On non-event days, parking is free for the first 30 minutes and $3 for any duration beyond 30 minutes. Parking for performance events is $10 cash at the Arts District Garage. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets. Featured artists are as follows: Killer Strayhorn, Sons of Brasil, David Basse & Orchestra 2010, Eldar Djangirov Trio, and The Kansas City Jazz. An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. ![]()
